On February 21, five workers were abducted by Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) cadres when they attacked a crash plant operated by a private company engaged in road construction near the Dhola River in Barkhan District of Balochistan, reports Aaj TV. Additionally, Police said the attackers also targeted a police post located some distance from the crash site and seized weapons from three Police personnel stationed there. The abducted workers are reported to be residents of Musa Khel. The BLF claimed responsibility of the attack, adds Zrumbesh. The BLF ‘spokesperson’ Major Gwahram Baloch said that detained Police personnel were released unharmed after finding no involvement against the Baloch cause. He added that the abducted workers will remain in custody for interrogation.
