SAA event in Balochistan, Zirkhani area of Jhao area, Pakistan on Wed 18th February 2026

The Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) claimed responsibility for multiple attackson February 18-19, targeting Pakistani security forces (SFs) in Jhao, Pasni and Washuk District of Balochistan, reports Zrumbesh. In a statement issued by spokesperson ‘major’ Gwahram Baloch, the BLF asserted that its cadres attacked a Pakistan Army check post in the Dokhi area of Kulanch, Pasni, on February 19, causing casualties and material losses. On February 18, BLF militants allegedly ambushed a military convoy in the Zirkhani area of Jhao, killing four soldiers, including two in a sniper attack on reinforcement troops. Separately, the group enforced a three-hour road blockade on the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) highway in Patk area of Washuk, Rakhshan, claiming vehicles were searched to monitor SF movement. Official confirmation of casualties was not available.
