At least eight Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) terrorists were killed while three Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) personnel sustained injuries during a CTD operation in the Darakhshan area of Quetta, the provincial capital of Balochistan, on February 18, reports The Express Tribune. According to a CTD statement, eight terrorists belonging to TTP were killed in an exchange of fire during the operation. A CTD spokesperson said that three of its personnel were also injured in the gun battle. Weapons and ammunition were recovered from the terrorists killed in the operation.
