At least two people were killed and 17 others injured in a powerful explosion near Miryan Police Station in Bannu District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on February 16, reports Dawn. According to a statement by the Police, the blast occurred when a time bomb planted in a motorcycle detonated. A child was among those killed in the explosion. Police sources said the blast took place near shops located in front of the station. Although Police personnel remained unharmed, civilians in the vicinity were caught in the blast.
