Other MoA event in Pirojpur, Indurkani area, Bangladesh on Sun 15th February 2026

On February 15, two Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) leaders, Mohiuddin Mollik Nasir and Riazuddin Mollik Nipu, were critically injured after unidentified attackers ambushed them with sharp weapons in Indurkani Upazila of Pirojpur District, reports The Daily Star. The attack took place around 11:00 pm on the Pirojpur-Charkhali Road, approximately 200 metres from Nasir’s residence. The two were returning home on a motorcycle from Parerhat Bazar when a group of miscreants attacked them. According to victim Nipu, “Eight to 10 assailants, on motorcycles, blocked our path and attacked us with sharp weapons, hacking at us indiscriminately before fleeing the scene. We could not identify anyone as they left immediately after the attack.”
