On February 14, a Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) office in Rupganj Upazila of Narayanganj District was set on fire in a suspected petrol bomb attack by unidentified miscreants, reports The Daily Star. Party leaders accused rival political groups. Police have identified two individuals as suspects and are continuing the investigation. Mansur Mia, president of Rupganj union Jubo Dal, said construction of the office began about a month ago and was completed a week earlierwhile police said suspects had been identified and an investigation was ongoing. The fire damaged furniture and property inside the office.
