A Baloch youth, Kamal, who had previously been subjected to enforced disappearance by Security Forces (SFs), was shot dead by unidentified gunmen in Jiwani area of Gwadar District in Balochistan on February 12, reports The Balochistan Post. Kamal s/o Haji Dad Mohammad, a resident of Dasht Sholi in Kech District, was targeted near Jiwani while travelling from Kantani Hor toward Gwadar. Eyewitnesses said the attackers, suspected being ‘death squad’ members, were travelling in a vehicle and opened fire before fleeing the scene. He reportedly died on the spot as a result of the shooting.
