Three soldiers were killed and several others were injured when the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) cadres ambushed a military convoy consisting of twelve vehicles in the Spilinji and Maro areas of Mastung District in Balochistan on February 10, reports Zrumbesh. In a statement issued to the media, BLA ‘spokesperson’ Jeeyand Baloch claims responsibility of the attack. Jeeyand Baloch said that rockets and other heavy weapons were used in the attack, while a sniper team also targeted the convoy.
