Two soldiers were killed when the Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) cadres targeted military personnel along the Awaran–Lasbela highway in the Jhao area of Awaran District in Balochistan on February 8, reports Zrumbesh. In a statement issued by BLF ‘spokesperson’ Major Gwahram Baloch, an improvised explosive device (IED) detonated while personnel were attempting to defuse it, resulting in the deaths of two soldiers.
