At least 21 civilians have been confirmed dead after the terrorist military launched a heavy aerial assault on a gathering of cargo trucks in Mindon Township, Magway Region, according to local sources.
At approximately 11:20 AM today, March 1, the military carried out a series of strikes near Pyaung village, where cargo trucks were parked and congregating. Three fighter jets reportedly dropped around ten 200-lb and 300-lb bombs on the site. Furthermore, the aircraft launched continuous rocket attacks, resulting in catastrophic damage and high casualties.
Preliminary reports indicate that at least 21 people were killed, and the death toll is expected to rise as search efforts continue. Additionally, 15 people were injured, some of whom are in critical condition.
The material damage from the airstrike includes the destruction of eight Fuso trucks and a significant amount of cargo, which were incinerated in the blasts.
