At least five soldiers were killed in an attack on a military convoy on the Monywa-Mandalay road in Monywa Township, Sagaing Region, an official from Monywa Dynamite - Special Task Force told Khit Thit Media.

On February 22, revolutionary forces launched a landmine attack near Ma Au gate on a convoy consisting of six armored vehicles, six copper-carrying trailers, and two 12-wheel trucks originating from Light Infantry Division 33 in Sagaing. During the strike, the fifth vehicle in the column was hit by a cluster of landmines, and revolutionary members followed up by opening fire with small arms.
