On 20 February 2026, between Ywar Ma and Htein Inn villages (coded as Htein Inn) (Aunglan township, Thayet district, Magway region), local resistance forces intercepted and attacked a convoy of vehicles carrying the Pyu Saw Htee leader, who was also a local administrator, and his members while going to a wedding with small arms. A member of the Pyu Saw Htee and the driver of a vehicle were captured along with a weapon. The targeted actor identity was unclear. Casualties unknown.
