On 20 February 2026, Israeli warplanes carried out an airstrike targeting the valley of Qsarnaba (Baalbek, Baalbek-Hermel). Casualties unknown. The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) stated that a 'large number' of Hezbollah operatives within the group's missile array was killed in airstrikes across the Beqaa Valley. The IDF stated it targeted three command centers belonging to the group in both the Baalbek area in the Beqaa Valley. According to a statement issued by the IDF, 'the operatives were recently identified working to accelerate readiness and force build-up processes, while planning fire toward the State of Israel.'
