On 19 February 2026, between Kyauk Hnget and Oke Twin villages (coded as Kyauk Hnget) (Ywangan township, Danu Self-Administered Zone, Shan-South state), an unidentified resistance force carried out mine attacks against a Myanmar military column of about 30 troops. The two sides then exchanged fire. About 10 military troops sustained injuries in the mine attacks.
