On 19 February 2026, Fano clashed with ENDF in Zendo Jirat Kebele near Sanka (Guba Lafto, North Wello, Amhara), leading to the killing of a significant number of forces on both sides and 3 civilians. Fano targeted the ENDF forces that were transporting military officials through the area along the route from Gedober toward the Sanka entrance. Fatalities coded as 13 (an unspecified number of security forces fatalities coded as 10 + 3 civilians fatalities).
