On 19 February 2026, in Htine Yar Yang village (coded as Shwegu) (Shwegu township, Bhamo district, Kachin state), the Myanmar military conducted airstrikes and dropped bombs two times with a fighter jet that came from Tada-U airbase at night which fell and exploded at a market without an armed clash occurring. 2 civilians were killed and five civilians were injured. Some houses were also destroyed. 2 fatalities.
