On 19 February 2026, in Ywar Zin village (Khin-U township, Shwebo district, Sagaing region), the Myanmar military troops from the No.8 military training school conducted drone strikes and dropped bombs with suicide drones. 2 civilians (a 50-year-old father and a 16-year-old daughter) were killed and three children including a 12-year-old child were injured. 2 fatalities.
