On 19 February 2026, in Petrolina (Pernambuco), four unidentified armed suspects shot and killed a teenaged boy in the Pedra Linda neighborhood. The suspects arrived at the location in a vehicle, got out of it and fired against the victim, escaping afterwards. Two other people were also shot and injured. Likewise, two unidentified armed suspects shot and killed a man in the Fernando Idalino neighborhood. The suspects broke into the victim's house and fired against him, escaping afterwards. They took the victim's motorcycle. The authorship and motivations are unknown. 2 fatalities.
