On 19 February 2026, near Santa Cecilia corregimiento (Pueblo Rico, Risaralda), ELN members detonated an explosive device against military troops on the Santa Cecilia-Guarato road (Choco). The explosion caused damage to a military vehicle but left no injuries. Authorities suspect the attack may be retaliation for the recent arrest of an ELN member by security forces in a rural area of Belen de Umbria (coded separately). There were no casualties.
