On 18 February 2026, Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) personnel killed eight TTP militants during an exchange of fire in Darakhshan area of Quetta city (Quetta, Balochistan). Three CTD personnel were injured in the gun battle, and weapons and ammunition were recovered from the site. Total 8 fatalities and 3 injured.
