On 18 February 2026, OLF-OLA clashed with Kebele militias in Mulo town, Mulo (Sheger City, formerly Finfine Special, Oromia), after an attack on the training camp. The armed group also seized weapons from police stations and militia offices. Militant-affiliated sources claim up to 100 Kebele militia members were killed (fatalities uncorroborated). Uncorroborated fatalities coded as 10. OLF-OLA's activities in the area followed the ENDF's redeployment to Northern Ethiopia, creating a security vacuum.
