On 18 February 2026, SPLM/A-IO members ambushed SSPDF forces in Lui Boma, Lozoh Payam (Mundri East County, Western Equatoria State). 1 civilian was injured in the crossfire and taken to a nearby health facility by the SSPDF. There were no casualties on either the SSPDF or the SPLM/A-IO side.
