On 17 February 2026, armed individuals suspected of being from the Murle community clashed with locals (likely members of the Bor Dinka community, who are predominant in the area) in Duk-Agal area of Jalle Payam (location coded to Jalle, the nearest known location in Bor South County, Jonglei State). The clash ensued after the suspected Murle attacked the area and raided an unspecified number of goats but were later repulsed. There were no casualties.
