Around 16 February 2026 (as reported), a FACA soldier shot and injured a civilian in the legs in Mann (Ngaoundaye, Ouham-Pende) after demanding access to the man's wife. The victim was taken to the medical facilities in Mann, Bocaranga, and Bangui for treatment. The soldier was transferred to another base without being subject to formal consequences. There were no fatalities.
