On 16 February 2026, armed youth from Tonj East County (coded as Tonj East communal militia) clashed with youth from the Thiik sub-section of the Aliap section of the Rek Dinka community in Lang Chok Boma, Malual-Cum Payam (Tonj East County, Warrap State). The clash ensued after the Tonj East youth shot and injured a civilian during an attempted cattle raid at Pabur Cattle Camp and the incident escalated into a revenge issue (no further information). The clash resulted in no casualties.
