On 15 February 2026, armed clashes erupted between the Hamieh and Al Takch clan militias in Al Aoqayde in Beit Chama (Baalbek, Baalbek-Hermel), injuring two individuals. The Lebanese Army deployed to the scene and established a security cordon to contain the fighting.
