On 14 February 2026, Houthi forces clashed with al-Qayfa tribesmen in Al Hufra neighborhood in Radaa (Rada, Al Bayda), using heavy-to-medium weapons. The clashes resulted in fatalities and injuries on the Houthi side and 1 fatality and 2 injuries on the side of the tribesmen and damages to residents' houses. Unspecified fatalities coded as 3 on Houthi side. Total fatalities coded as 4. The clashes started after a police chase of a local man resulted in his death. Houthi forces sent reinforcements, intensified their deployment around the neighborhood, imposed a siege, and established checkpoints. Anti-Houthi sources claimed that Houthi forces killed the local man, refused to release his corpse, and transferred it to an unknown location, because he demanded accountability for the killing of his father last year, while pro-Houthi source claimed he was a 'gang leader', and that the clashes were with members of his gang.
