Ten soldiers were killed and three firearms were seized during an ambush on a military supply convoy traveling from Son Village to Simeekhon Town in Ngazun Township, Mandalay Region, according to an official from the Mandalay People's Defense Force.

On February 20, at approximately 10:30 AM, a supply convoy of about 20 troops and Pyu Saw Htee militia members traveling from Son Village to Simeekhon was intercepted by Mandalay District Battalion 3 and allied forces.
