Two civilians were killed after the military conducted continuous airstrikes on KIA brigade areas and residential villages in Kachin State, according to a KIA source who spoke to Khit Thit Media.

On February 21, the military used jet fighters to carry out successive bombing raids on at least five different locations within KIA-controlled territories and civilian villages in a single day.

During these airstrikes yesterday, the military dropped four bombs on the Kan See and Anant Pa areas in the KIA Brigade 9, Battalion 6 territory of Hpakant District. Additionally, a Yak-130 fighter jet dropped bombs around Htaing Yan Village in the KIA Brigade 8 area of Mohnyin District.
