Ten soldiers were killed during an ambush on a military column raiding villages in Ywangan Township, Shan State, and local residents have been forced to flee their homes, a local revolutionary source told Khit Thit Media.

On the evening of February 18, revolutionary forces intercepted a military column moving through villages near Oat Twin Village in Ywangan Township. During the clash, ten junta soldiers were killed and two others were seriously injured. The revolutionary fighters were able to retreat without casualties.
