During the 78th Chin National Day ceremony in Hakha, Chin State, led by Lieutenant General Yar Pyae, a drone attack by the CDF-Hakha forced the general to flee in haste, an official from CDF-Hakha told Khit Thit Media.

On February 20, while the ceremony was being held in front of the township and district joint office complex in Hakha, the CDF-Hakha drone unit launched a strike using suicide drones. The event was attended by high-ranking officials, including Lt. Gen. Yar Pyae, Minister for Industry Charlie Than, Minister Maung Maung Tint, and Chin State Chief Minister Dr. Wong Sun Thang.
