Seven people were killed and five others were injured in an airstrike by a gyroplane yesterday afternoon (February 22) near a gold mine in Homalin Township, Sagaing Region.

Locals said that the Pinoke Sut mine near the Uru River in Homalin Township was bombed by a gyroplane around 3:00 PM yesterday, and the mass fatalities occurred because the explosion hit near the Shwe Letyar restaurant.
