Police were called to an industrial area in Eskilstuna on Saturday evening after a detonation. Pictures from the scene show damage to several window panes.

Shortly after 9 p.m. on Saturday evening, police were called to some form of explosion or detonation at a business premises in the Vilsta industrial area in Eskilstuna.

The National Bomb Disposal Service and police technicians investigated the scene during the night.

The police tell SVT that "everything indicates that some form of detonation or explosion occurred" at a business premises, but have no further description of what may have exploded.

The incident is being investigated as public destruction and a crime against flammable and explosive substances.

At this time, no suspect has been arrested. No one is reported to have been injured in connection with the incident.
