Man suspected of violating the Weapons Act.

The police receive a call about a bang in the central parts of Ljusdal. Several police patrols are alerted to the scene and, thanks to descriptions from the public, are able to begin the search for the suspect. In the subsequent police work, a man, in his 50s, is then arrested on suspicion of violating the Weapons Act.

The man has now been arrested after contact with prosecutors. A preliminary investigation into violations of the Weapons Act and causing danger to others has been initiated.
