Man injured by sharp object.

Police are called to Stadsparken in Katrineholm due to a fight involving several people. A 35-year-old man is found at the scene who has been injured by a sharp object. The man is awake and able to speak and stands up but will require hospital treatment. The police are currently working to create a situational picture of what happened and to search for a suspected perpetrator.

16:17 The police have set up a cordon at the crime scene. Witnesses and the victim are also being interviewed.

21:28 There is still no arrest in the case. The police have held interviews and searched for a lone perpetrator. The injured person is in hospital and was awake and able to speak when he was taken there, there are no updates on the status of the injuries. The legal status is attempted murder.

Update 12/2, 08.00: The legal status has been changed to aggravated assault.
