The US-led international coalition announced that it had intercepted and destroyed several missiles and drones loaded with explosives over the city of Erbil in Iraq.

Kurdish security authorities said these interceptions took place over Erbil, noting in a statement by the Counter-Terrorism Forces in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq: "The international coalition forces succeeded in intercepting and destroying several missiles and drones loaded with explosives over Erbil."

The statement added that no casualties or material damage were recorded as a result of these attacks.
