Unknown gunmen, possibly Lakurawa/IS-Sahel, ambushed the convoy of the Major General Bemgha Koughna, Commander of Sector 2 in Operation Fansan Yamma in Kebbi State, northwest Nigeria, the ambush was successfully repelled and five militants were killed, weapons, cash and religious books were captured by the troops.
