A man was killed in a shooting that occurred Thursday evening, February 19, in the Tierra y Libertad neighborhood of Villa Juárez, in the municipality of Navolato. According to the report to the Public Security Secretariat's emergency number, the incident took place on Vicente Guerrero Street, between Fourth and Fifth Streets, around 6:00 p.m. Neighbors reported multiple gunshots in the area to 911, and security personnel arrived at the scene and confirmed the death of a man approximately 35 years old. The deceased has not yet been identified; however, he was described as having a slim build and wearing jeans and a black t-shirt. A vehicle with bullet holes was also found at the scene, containing an explosive device and several spent shell casings.
