A military column was ambushed in Yinmabin Township, Sagaing Region, resulting in the deaths of three soldiers and the seizure of one rifle and ammunition, according to the information officer for the Union Liberation Front (ULF V-02) speaking to Khit Thit news agency.

On February 15, at approximately 3:30 a.m., a military column departing from the Pyusawhti village of Bantbway, Yinmabin Township, was ambushed by revolutionary forces while the troops were extorting money from the public and searching for food supplies. The clash lasted about 20 minutes, leaving three soldiers dead and several others wounded. Revolutionary forces successfully seized one rifle and ammunition before withdrawing without suffering any casualties.
