On 12 February 2026, in Palmas (Tocantins), military police officers clashed with two suspected drug traffickers on Avenida A, in the Jardim Aeroporto sector, killing one of them. One suspect fled into a wooded area, while the other fired at officers and was shot during the exchange. A revolver and quantities of marijuana and cocaine were recovered at the scene. 1 fatality.
