A 19-year-old serviceman was hospitalized on November 20 at 2 p.m. due to an explosion at a training ground in the Rivne region.
This was stated in the message of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Rivne region, reports Ukrainian News Agency.
"On November 20, around 2:00 p.m., an operative on duty of the military service informed the police that a 19-year-old soldier was injured as a result of an explosion of unknown ammunition on the territory of the Rivne combined military training ground," it said.
According to preliminary information, during the exercises, a convoy of military equipment stopped to inspect the transport.
