On 11 February 2026, an IED previously left behind by ISIL militants detonated near Zagilbane village in Tooz Khurmato district (location unknown, coded as Tuz Khurma city, Salah Al Din), injuring a 22-year-old shepherd. The victim died in the hospital the next day. Local security forces launched sweeps of the area to search for more IEDs. 1 fatality.
