On 11 February 2026, SSPDF and SPLM/A-IO forces clashed in Kuerlatjor and Thoar villages in Nyathoar Payam (location coded to Guit, the Guit County headquarters in Unity State), resulting in 5 fatalities, including 2 senior SSPDF officers, and 10 injuries. The opposition members pushed the SSPDF towards the Thoan settlement in Kuerguine Payam, Guit County.
