On 11 February 2026, OLF-OLA clashed with ENDF and Kebele militias at an unspecified location in Ginde Beret resulting in 5 OLF-OLA fighters being killed and 8 others captured. The bodies of the deceased OLF-OLA fighters were later collected near a village known as Terara, location coded to Terara (Kombolcha, East Hararge, Oromia). 3 ENDF soldiers were also injured in the fighting. The clash disrupted transport between Kachisi and Ginchi. The 3 ENDF soldiers who sustained gunshot wounds were observed receiving first aid in the same area. The clash followed the recent withdrawal of a portion of ENDF soldiers from the area (no further information).
