From around 1 a.m. until past 3 p.m. today, February 19, a jet fighter from the Bridgehead Air Force base and helicopters from the Mi-17 airbase carried out airstrikes on villages in the eastern and southeastern parts of Taungtha Township; it is not yet confirmed whether civilians were harmed, and villagers are currently sheltering in safer areas.
