On 10 February 2026, in Tlangkhua village (Thantlang township, Hakha district, Chin state), the Myanmar military launched an airstrike by dropping a 500lb bomb on the village using an A-5 bomber jet at around 12:10 pm. The bomb struck a construction site of a new home, killing 6 people, including an elderly person. At least 7 others were injured, 4 of whom, including a child, sustained critical injuries. 6 fatalities.
