On 10 February 2026, 2 unidentified groups (likely Kuki and Tangkhul based on the ongoing conflict since 8 February) engaged in a gunfight at Litan village (Ukhrul, Manipur) with the escalation of violence between the Kuki and Tangkhul tribes. Many rounds of shots using automatic assault rifles were shot from Sareikhong village. At least 4 houses were burned down by unidentified persons following the clash while more were burned during the day. The total number of houses burned since 8 February is 50. Manipur government suspended internet services across Ukhrul district. There were no fatalities.
