On 10 February 2026, Fano clashed with Amhara regional riot police, Kebele militia, and the ENDF in Debre Tabor (Debre Tabor town, South Gondar, Amhara), leading to the killings of many forces on both sides. The clash began when Fano started striking Amhara regional riot police and Kebele militia positions in the town following the withdrawal of the ENDF from many places in the South Gondar zone (coded separately). The ENDF later returned to support the state security forces. The clash continued for three consecutive days until 12 February 2026 (coded separately). Unspecified number of fatalities coded as 10, split across the three dates, and coded as 4 for this event.
