On 9 February 2026, Russian Forces launched assault actions on Ukrainian positions near Novopavlivka, Dnipropetrovsk. 57 Russian soldiers were killed and 35 Russian soldiers were injured in the area of Sofiivka, Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Novopidhorodne, Novopavlivka, Ivanivka, Filiia and Dachne (coded as 57 fatalities split across 12 events. 5 fatalities coded to this event). Ukrainian Forces destroyed and damaged 6 vehicles, 19 shelters and an artillery piece of Russian Forces in Pokrovsk direction. According to Russian sources, 295 Ukrainian soldiers, including from air force and national guard units (coded to Novopidhorodne), were killed in the area of Novopidhorodne, Novopavlivka, Hryshyne, Bilytske, Hulive, Dobropillia, Novyi Donbas, Serhiivka, Toretske, Shevchenko and Raipole [Russian MoD reported 295 fatalities.
