On 9 February 2026, police and BSCPG members clashed with a Benue militia while repelling their attack on Tse-Kaseve village in Anyagba ward, location coded to the nearest populated area, Katsina-Ala (Katsina Ala, Benue). The militia killed 6 people, including 2 police and 4 civilians, and looted the rifles of the deceased police. Several other people were injured and taken to Katsina Ala General Hospital.
